A good gaming name is short, readable and easy for teammates to call out. Start with our PUBG name generator, pick a bold or small-caps style, and keep a simple frame instead of heavy symbols.
Rules that work

Stylish PUBG Name Ideas by Style
Not sure which vibe fits you? The most popular styles in 2026 are bold names, which look clean and pro; small caps, which stay readable on every phone; and decorated frames with crowns or wings, which grab attention in the lobby. Build any of these in seconds with our Fancy Text Generator, or add crowns, stars and wings around your name with the Name Decorator. If you play with a squad, generate matching styles for everyone with the Clan Name Generator so your team looks united before the match even starts.
How to Change Your Name in PUBG and BGMI
Changing your name is easy once you have a rename card. Open the game, go to your profile, tap the rename icon next to your name, paste your new stylish name and confirm. Rename cards come from the shop, events or the clan shop, so finalize your style before spending one — a wasted card hurts. Both PUBG Mobile and BGMI follow the same steps, and your new name appears in the lobby, on the leaderboard and in kill feeds instantly.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the character limit for PUBG names?
PUBG and BGMI allow short names — keep yours under 16 characters including symbols, or the game will cut it off.
Which stylish font works best in PUBG?
Bold and small caps render on almost every device. Heavily decorated Unicode may show as boxes on older phones, so always test in the lobby first.
Can I use symbols in my BGMI name?
Yes, most common symbols work, but each symbol counts toward the character limit. One crown or star looks far better than five.
